Valuable Lessons

Hey New Readers, new followers, old friends, etc.

Today I'm linking up with my 2 Bama girls Lauren and Kalyn. I got to meet Lauren on Saturday and I'm so glad I did. She is such a sweetheart. I can't wait to meet Kalyn also since we are the "babies" of the group. Us being 23 and all. :).

The question was what has been your most valuable lesson learned this year!?

I love this link up because it allows you to think.

I would have to two things I am learning to stop worrying as much and working on my patience.

This verse really speaks to me about the first thing.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34 NIV)

Sure I'm a worrier but not as bad I used to be. I used I worry what others thought of me more then I did anythingelse. Being overweight and in college still is hard. I worry about what will happen when I graduate. I worry I won't get a job because I am overweight. Because some people assume we are lazy, eat all the time, etc. I worry that I look bad. I worry that JBK won't love me tomorrow. (Because what I have been through with the ex. ) there's so much more. I also have anxiety so it makes worrying that much worse. However if I start to pray about it God removes those feelings. :)

Oh patience. Patience is not a virtue God gave me that's for sure. He def. gave it to JBK. However the past 6 months God has been working with me on it.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (Colossians 3:12 NIV)

Being long distance it takes a lot of patience. Like you have to decide when or where you will be seeing each other. To when to call him or her.

I'm learning to be patient with my family. Which is hard.

Patience that I'm going to finally graduate after being here for almost 5 years. Patience about where I am going to be after I graduate in May.

We just have to remember our timings is not necessary God's timing. :)

And so much more. Well that's all for now

Love,

Kaitlyn

Ps there will be another post up today. Look out for it. :)

I also love how you've seen yourself change & grow & how you see that God has made these changes in you. Soooo....my hubby & I ALSO had a long-distance relationship. Patience is DEFINITELY part of that game. I am loving getting to know you more & more with each post I read!
