Hey Y'all

Hey Y'all.

It's been awhile I know. I needed a break to think about this space and where it is going. I want to be more intent in what I blog. I want to write more about my faith, my journey more in my weight loss, my struggles, my mountain peaks, and so much more.

So in November I am going to blog everyday. It maybe something short, something long, or somewhere in between.

If there's really anything you want to know or want me to blog about something I will.

Thanks again for all the support y'all have given me. It means so much to me.

Love y'all.

Kaitlyn

Ps On Sunday me and JBK celebrated a year. Wow!! Time goes by so fast.
So here's a picture!! :)

Literary Junkies

I haven't linked up with these girls in quite sometime. I am actually doing Meg from Semi Charmed Life Autunum Book Challenge. I just finished 2 books actually.

Ps I'm on my phone so I will link up the button. :)

This month's link-up questions:

1) What are you currently reading? Tell us a bit about it!

I just finished Go Ask Alice (again) and Letting Ana Go.

Both are "anonymous" diaries. Alice is about a young girl who gets addicted to drugs and Ana is about a girl who has an eating disorder. Both are told through journal entries.

2) What are your five most recent book purchases?
1. letting Ana go
2. Where the heart is
3 11/22/63

3) Have you ever named/nicknamed anything (person, pet or thing) after a character? Who and why?

Well my car's name is Blanche. Haha.
She doesn't act like the character from Streetcar Named Desire

4) If you could live in one book, all of its characters and in the town, which would it be?
Probably in England durning Pride and Prejudice. I just love Mr. Darcy and I have been told I act like Elizabeth sometimes. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

5) Can you think of a book you read that taught you something concrete that you've never forgotten? Tell us about it.

I can't really think of anything. I'm not a big self help book person.

These are the books I'm also reading for the book challenge I stated earlier. You can reread 3 books.

5: Read a book that does not have "the," "a" or "an" in the title.
Letting Ana Go
10: Read a book that has been featured in Oprah's Book Club. This list includes all the books up until 2010. (Submitted by SCSBC13 winner Erin.
Where The Heart Is
10: Read a book that takes place in the state where you currently live. If you do not live in the U.S., read a book that takes place in the country where you live. (Submitted by SCSBC13 winner Megan.)
The Wedding Dress
15: Read an epistolary novel, which is a book written in letters, emails, diary entries or other documents. See this Goodreads list if you need an idea, but make sure it's actually an epistolary novel first! Goodreads lists aren't verified, so non-epistolary books could have snuck their way on there.
(Go Ask Alice) ( reread)
15: Read a book first published in 2013.
the moon and more
15: Read a book with something spooky in the title. (Submitted by SCSBC13 winner Bev.)
Dollhouse Murders
20: Read a book with "air," "water," "earth" or "fire" in the title. (Submitted by SCSBC13 winner Gypsi.)
The Earth, My Butt, And other big round things ( reread)
20: Read a book on which a television series has been based (e.g. Orange is the New Black, Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Friday Night Lights, etc.).

Pretty Little Liars book 1
25: Read a fiction book that has someone’s first and last name in the title (e.g. The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Bridget Jones's Diary, etc.).

megan meade's guide to the mcgowan boys

30: Read two books by the same author. They can be in the same series, but do not have to be. Co-authors do not count (i.e. the author must be the sole author of each book).

Haven't picked out anything

35: Read a fiction and nonfiction book about the same topic. (Example: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and The Woman Who Wasn't There are both about 9/11. I'm planning on doing a whole post with a list of ideas soon, if you care to submit any!)

So this week I was really nervous to get on the scale just because my birthday weekend I ate a lot. And really bad too. However I am drinking only water so maybe that will help. And I have drinking a lot of it. I also couldn't go to my usual weigh in hence I went today. So with out further or do...

  I LOST 3 LBS!!!!!!!!!!

Ummm... What!? Excuse me you got to be kidding. Like really. So now I have lost 14.2 lbs altogether. And I almost out of the 230s. I almost cried.

I also held a plank for 20 seconds yesterday. Never thought I could do that.

I am so proud of myself and have y'all to thank too. If it wasn't for your support I don't think I could do it. :)

October Goals

Hey Everyone!! Can y'all believe it is October 1!! What when did that happen!!
This week is also birthday week!!!  My birthday is Sunday I will be 24!

So fitness goals this month.

I am on board with Jess from Operation Skinny Jeans and a bunch more ladies by only drinking water this month.

I also am joining Erin from Shesabigstar

I also want be in the 220s by the end of this month. I also want to have lost 5% of my body weight.

I also need to start to track what I eat. I have fallen off that wagon.

I also want to start walking or something  on my days that I'm not working out.

I am so proud of this journey.

I started WW August 6th so almost 2 months.

I also started my workout journey August 28!! :).

Day 1

Day 1

I am going to start from the beginning of The Bible.

All women are descended from the first woman and she is the mother to us all.

Her name is Eve. Her name means life-giver.

Eve was born from Adam's rib as a companion for him. She lived in the garden of Eden.

One day she ate the fruit that she was forbidden to eat along with Adam as well.  Thus now sin came in the picture.

They had no idea that sin would cause this much damage. Sin looks so appealing and appetizing however the final product will always be death.

No amount of blaming who made who eat that piece of forbidden fruit could change what would happen to them
or the generations after them.

They had to leave the beautiful garden of Eden where they have lived and known.
Eve and all women were also marked with childbirth pains. ( Thanks a lot Eve) haha.

What I have learned from Eve. I want to be a life-giver. I can't wait for that day when The Lord if is part of his plan for my life to give birth to kids either myself, foster, adopt.

That is one characteristic I hope to have one day.

Love,

Kaitlyn
