Finally Out of This Funk

So yesterday was Assessment Day at my school. Where Seniors take the major test for your major or majors. And also fill out graduation info etc. I already did this last year so I got to sleep late.

So I have been in a funk like I said. It was so pretty yesterday so me and God had an amazing quite time outside.

I finally realized why I was stupid stinking funk.

I know this may sound stupid or trivial but this is what it is.

Growing Up!!!!

See I told you.

I'm 23 going to be 24 this year. If you would said when I was 17 I would be here I would laugh. I didn't think I was going to live to be this age. I really didn't I was that depressed. Then God rescued me from that. Again at the 22 God did the same thing.

I'm about to graduate college and still don't know what or will I do. I know God will take care of me. Me and God have a plan so we shall see if it works.

I also have an amazing boyfriend of almost 6 months. ( wow) I thank God for him everyday for putting him in my life. I love him so much. And I'm so happy.
If you said almost a year ago if I would be this happy with a guy I would have laughed again. The past few weeks have made us stronger as a couple. :)

I also got my first wedding invitation that said my name and guest. Wow.. That's so amazing and weird. I can't wait to go to that with my man in June!! :)

So that's all for now love y'all.

  1. Oh sweet Kaitlyn! I am SOOOO thankful to read this post! Praise be to God that you realized why you're in the funk. Girl, growing up IS scary! I still get scared & I'm 10 years older than you. Just just have to go to the river, lay it before God, let it go, & thirst no more! And call on your prayer warriors, supporters, & encouragers each & everytime you are in need. I was in a little bit of a funk myself when I woke up this morning. I did my Quiet Time despite Satan doing everything he could to get me to not. I did it & then I texted my 2 local friends who are my prayer warriors. I told them what I was feeling & told them to pray. These girls pray when they say they're gonna. After much prayer from me, them, a little natural vitamin D (cause I'm deficient & I LOVE the sun & it's been hiding OR too cold to enjoy it until today), AND getting to get birthday gifts for 3 of my FAV peeps in the under 5 crowd, God brought me through it & I've had a great evening & night.

And know I'm here for you! Praying you through!
